Carbon Steel Utility Knife by Herder

Out of stock

This utility knife by Herder is best used for fruit and vegetables with tight cores, such as chicory or napa cabbage. This utility knife, though not stainless, is made from high-quality carbon steel with a beech wood handle.

Although the knife will rust without proper care, it will remain sharp without intervention for a very long time. With proper care, this knife last at least 20 years.

Discolouration of the blade over time, but not rusting, is perfectly normal. The darkening of the metal is typical of well-used carbon steel products.

Not dishwasher safe.

This knife does not have to stay in the kitchen; it can also be used for removing tough weeds and for harvesting home-grown vegetables.

Herder Molenmessen
