Warranty

In our shop and online we only sell quality products. For instance the warranty period for our Unger products is 2 years. 

In addition to the statutory warranty, the factory warranty is often valid, this period might extend to more than two years. If the factory warranty is applicable, you can find it in the product manual.

Our approach to warranty:

  • Standard 2 year warranty on all Unger products.
  • The warranty terms depend on the product. 
  • The warranty is effective from the date of purchase.
  • You are entitled to a free repair, a new product, or refund of your money.
  • In case of warranty, no return costs will be charged. Of course, we also refund the shipping costs to the supplier and return the product to you.
  • This warranty on top of and without prejudice to the legal rights that you already have as a consumer.

When warranty is not applicable:

  • Damage due to improper use.
  • The product is worn out by normal use.
  • Defects already known at the time of receipt / purchase of the product. If this is the case, please contact us immediately.

Feedback & Complaints


If you have a complaint about one of our products or our service you can contact us via the contact form, by phone +31 (0) 72 512 0857 (during opening hours). Please only return a product after first contacting us.

A complaint about our website, a payment, or our service, can be sent by e-mail: klantenservice@ouderwetsewinkel.nl or via the contact form. We strive to respond within 3 business days, but you will receive a response within 10 days.

Consumer in the European Union can use the ODR platform to file a complaint. The ODR platform is a web-based platform developed by the European Commission. Its objective is to help consumers and traders resolve their contractual disputes about online purchases of goods and services out-of-court at a low cost in a simple and fast way.
